Our Facility

Kennel Buiding

A former horse stable houses the indoor facilities of our kennel. The building is bright and well ventilated. It is insulated, heated in the winter and climate controlled in the summer. The floors are concrete for easy cleaning with soft yet thick rubber mats in the suites for extra protection and padding. All suites have windows, some to the outside, others to the inside.

Our indoor suites are the biggest you will find in any kennel in the area. The smallest size is 6’ by 6’ which is bigger than other places’ Deluxe pens! We also have 10’ by 6’ suites which can house even two large dogs very comfortably or suites 10’ by 12’ for a group of three to four dogs. After lots of activities during the day our canine guests will enjoy the spacious suites to relax from being "dog-tired" by all the new experiences and the fresh country air.

For dogs who are social and live rather with their new canine friends that in their own suite we also offer CAGE-FREE boarding. Group suites with open access to the lounge area will make every pack member feel comfortable.

Each dog has his own raised wooden bed with a thick cushion. Food and water dishes are supplied and are cleaned after each meal.

We do not have attached individual small outdoor runs because we find that this limits the 1-on-1 attention required by  your dog. If a handler can just open a door and push the dog outside while cleaning the pen the personal touch gets lost and the care for your pet becomes mechanical. Because we have to take our guests outside for one of their walks, runs, play or cuddle times we can give our friend a few extra scratches and spot immediately if there would be a health problem. Regular handling also improves manners and gives the dog some extra training – all free of charge.

Our farm also features three securely fenced-in playgrounds (from 5,000 - 16,000 sq.ft.) with several dog houses for shade and shelter and play structures and one smaller run for dogs that have to be kept separate. Two large and the smaller outdoor play area are grass while the biggest run has an all-weather footing.

For those bad weather days when you do not want to stay outside for long we have a furnished 1,260 sq.ft. indoor lounge for the dogs where they can play and hang out. Soft and comfy chairs and sofas invite our guests to relax on after their extensive playtime. And if the weather is so cold and miserable that you do not even want to set one foot outside the dogs are welcome in our indoor riding arena with sand footing to stretch their legs. And with 16,000 sq.ft. there is lots of room to stretch them!

But the main attractions of our farm are the many miles of groomed trails that meander through fields, grassy meadows, bush and forest. Rolling hills, flat stretches of green grass and several ponds create lots of different scenarios to enjoy.
